Yay for my 100th post!!!
I wanted to share where I am at on making my Annual Calendar. I finally got back to working on making the last sets of months into stickers. It made a lot more that needed to be cut out... :(
So those two strips of stickers are all that I have left to cut out. You see that super awesome pile of scraps? Yea that's what I accomplished last night. Woo!
I can't wait for it to be finished so that I can show you!!
Happy Thursday and 13 days until my birthday!

Relaxation
I just has my first ever table massage. And. Oh. My. Goodness. It was amazing. I have gotten chair massages before but this, 1000 times better. So that is my reasoning behind why there isn't a more fun post today.
I have been working on getting my little annual calendar done. HOpefully soon I can post the final reveal! Even though you have the basic idea already :)
I am trying to sign up for a course in the fall. That way I can guarantee that I get to see my sister at least once a week... except that I will then have homework and reading to do... but I think it might be fun.
I have plans for the weekend to hopefully drag out my sewing machine again. I know you are probably missing all of the cutesy things that I was making for a while. Food is great, but craftiness is even better.
That's all for now! See you tomorrow!!

Pinterest Pick - Updates!
So I managed to find two things regarding Pinterest items I couldn't for the life of me find.
But I found them!!!
The first was the link to the annual calendar that I have been slaving away on (and it still isn't finished!). I had originally pinned it the first time I saw it... but on my For the Home board... yea that was why I couldn't find it. It has been moved into the correct board!
The second was the post regarding that amazing tree house. The original pinner didn't pull it from the exact blogpost but I found it!! The post is originally from here and unfortunately the picture does not link back to anywhere. :( BUT I did manage to find it!! wooo.
The bf and I are going house hunting today... hopefully we will find something... I am really disliking not having a space for all of my crafty projects to live in...

Crafty Copy Cat - Multiple year calendar - Current Progress
I apparently was not thinking about how long it might take to follow through on my ideas for my calendar project.
I did however find the pin I pinned on Pinterest about it!! Check it out here.
So I will update you on my progress.
I bought another pack of index cards so that I would have enough to make one for each day of the year.
Next I had to figure out I wanted to date the cards. I am not super happy with my handwriting so that was out. I didn't have a date stamper so that idea was out too. I was wracking my brain for different ideas until I stumbled upon the fact that I own a sticker maker. Yes a sticker maker. The coolest thing.
I had bought it when I was planning to do some major scrap booking... yea that didn't pan out. But I am so happy that I have it!
Now how to make the images to put through the sticker maker to then put on the cards....
Well that was a no brainer. I used Picnik. Yes I know it is going away in April... but if I create the file I can keep it forever, right? RIGHT!
So that is what I did.
I picked a different font for each month since I couldn't decide on just one.
I copy/pasted the image into Word so that I could size it and multiply it.
I then cut them into small squares to fit into the sticker maker.
It was quick to feed them through.
Now in the picture above it shows my really long sticker train... well what you don't see is ALL of the months... I ran out of stickery stuff and had to buy more. I have yet to stickerfy the rest of the papers and am almost regretting picking to do it this way since I have to cut out each individual sticker out before I stick it.
I am hoping to have them done by the end of the week.
I will still have to number the cards... uhg... that might just have to be hand written... maybe in a cool colored marker.
Then comes the process of finding postcards or things to act as the month dividers.
I do have one maybe picked out:
It is from a little card my mom wrote me. She loves tennis and the happy tennis balls make me smile. I can't decide if I should use other little cards for dividers or not. I mean it is not like I am gluing it all together or something so I could change it in the future if I don't like it.
Regardless I get to look forward to tons more cutting when I get home tonight.. and tomorrow... and probably the next day.

The cards to the right are done. The cards to the left are not... almost halfway there. |

Crafty Copy Cat - Multiple year calendar - Part 1
I am drawing a blank on where I got this idea. I thought I had seen it on Pinterest but now for some reason I can't find that pin. But I will show you my partially finished product.
The concept of this calendar is to keep a running record of something done each day of the year for multiple years in a row. Here is when I would link up to the pretty version that is already done, but alas I can't find it.
Sooo instead you get to see how I made mine so far! :)
Items you will need:
~Strawberry/tomato basket
~About 184 4x6 lined index cards (obviously I didn't buy enough)
~Date stamper
~12 post cards or photos
~Paper cutter or scissors
Using the paper cutter or scissors, cut the 4x6 index cards in half so that you end up with a 4x3 card.
This step should not take very much time. You can even do this while watching a really awesome show!
Then place the cut index cards (if you are like me you don't have enough yet) into the strawberry basket and wait to figure out what to do next. :)
More to come on this. I am still trying to figure out how I want to date the index cards... I don't have a date stamper and I am not exactly interested in purchasing one.
I will however continue to try to find out where the source for this idea is. I have a text out to my sister to see if she has the link saved on her computer.
Completely off topic, I am loving the weather outside. It makes me want to go to the beach...
See you tomorrow!!

I started with this paper cutter and then realized I couldn't get an accurate 3" measure. |
So I switched to this one! |
Yup that is One Tree Hill, I am trying desperately trying to catch up so I can watch the last season "in real time". |
